HAPPY BIRTHDAY FLIDGET!!

Haha! You found this post! Hurray! Did you find the others?

You're awesome. How long did it take you?

So yes, again I say! Hurray for Flidgets! Our lives would all be much poorer without them.

Dude, we could just move to live journal. Everyone's there already anyway.

Ok, so group consensus vote - do we keep the blog up and running and use it for something cool, or do we just let it die, seeing as it's come and gone and somewhat used its purpose of... ok so I don't know, but just letting it linger on here in a sort of wierd half-life 'Han Solo at the end of Empire' type of state is just depressing.

Yes? No? Bueller?

Flidget, I like this self-insertion-car idea... I wanna be the Lunar-sport LX coupe. I'd could even have a midship, and twin turbo. I'd probably need new tires every other hour though. *shrug* brings new meaning to 'high maintence relationship'

*snigger*

Wind: eh, one thing was a random commentary on Initial D. . . it's fandom, to be more precise. I took a look at the fics for it, out of morbid curiousity
Wind: sadly, the incomprehensible yaoi pairings are being beaten out by the even more incomprehensible Mary Sues
Wind: this prompted the comment "You know, they'd have a lot better luck getting the undying love of the street racer boys by inserting themselves as a /car/."

I'm eating a big ol' bowl of rice sprinkled with furikage right now. . . .

You know, I think one of the reasons why western culture is eating the world is because the west exports its low brow, comfort food-type stuff first. The easily accessible stuff, like Egg McMuffins.

Japan's exporting, well, sushi. I can get sushi mats and nori and wasabi in my grocery store now, but I'd appreciate furikage more.

Uhm.

Boondock Saints is not a good movie. In some places, however, it is very good at what it does.

Also, it has Irish twin renegade crimefighters. With tattoos.

I have already found some japanese fanart, of course.

They're making a sequel.

Regarding Naruto

Wind: *eyes Kankuro* And I have no idea why I only just realized that you /so/ have Bat-ears. What hairstyle /are/ you hiding under that head-cape?
Flidget: . . . .
Flidget: do I even want to know?
Wind: eh, it's just the Sand-bishie with the face-paint. . .
Wind: who looks remarkably like he's been stealing headgear from Batman
Wind: . . . which would admittedly be one way for a shinobi to prove themselves, but I really don't want to consider the horrible crossover potentials

It's so neat to hear the words 'ocean effect' and weather in the same sentance again. Mmmm I should drive to the ocean soon. Not next weekend, because I still haven't unpacked yet, but soon. Mmm ocean.

The Quotable Insanity

I thought about saving these for a Christmas card, but now I've got so many they're sort of overflowing even a large-size card. So here you go, things I've cut and pasted from IM's and other places of some of the genius people I know.

FlidgetJeromeEsq: that are now considered venrable and accient pioneers of naked man sluts

TimeSpyral: i can't mock it properly unless i know what orifice it can fit in

asprosdrakos: I'm going to watch it, go 'screw you Square' and go back to my own universe.. now, alternate universe, I guess. Alternate because it doesn't suck

VPRenard: exactly. no one wants astral wang.

VPRenard: that's why i'm dragging him to therapy. So i can rip his heart out in a controlled setting

ThorneScratch: It's like... being chased by a midget who's swinging a morning-star, all the while bellowing, "LOOK AT ME! I'M SYMBOLIC!"

Lunar: Type faster, Twig! The antichrist is coming and he wants his fic.

Mistwind: until I put on my hip sunglasses. Then I'm superior

FlidgetJeromeEsq: because the fun thing about an infinite astral plane is there's no telling what sort of bloodthirsty shit is out there.

It snowed here on Friday. Snowed!

I shouldn't be that freaked out though, it's only early March. Last year it was still snowing in April.

That and the cherry blossoms are in bloom right now. The whole sakurayuki thing? 'S every as pretty as it's cracked up to be.

Are you trying to say my sole purpose is to be stepped on when there's no lights on?

I can see the shortening to Fitz, but I think she might go with Will in bed. It's a bit easier to roll off the tongue in the throes of passion than Fitz is.

Oh, I have no doubt the Flying Flidget doll poses some sort of eye hazard. Like lawn darts.

Or it comes with its own launcher that can be used to wound friends and loved ones.

She'd call him Fitz, I think.

Also, I am aghast that my toy doesn't seem to involve any sort of child safety warning or at least 'biting action'.

D0johns1: Flying Flidget Doll.
D0johns1: Tickle Me Itlan
D0johns1: Bleach-Fun Spooky
twigcollins: poke Twig's tummy to hear her rant
D0johns1: and the Lego Thorne collection.
D0johns1: hehehe. Tickle me itlan was my favorite.
twigcollins: hehehe
D0johns1: Touch her in the wrong spot and she disembowls you.

mmm That would be a fun fic to write. Lizzy & fitzwilliam.... would she shorten him to Will, in private do you think? I can see her calling him Fitz/Will/iam when she wants to scold him playfully. But that would be a bit of a mouthfull in bed. XD

You will now have to do the equally wierd office of thanking your Mama for me for hooking me up with fanfiction.

*Checks out site*

Oh sweet mercy, they're all anal little history wanks.

It's my spiritual home!

Boy howdy.

Flidget, this is the kind of crap I was telling you about. And, uh, my mother recommends you visit The Republic of Pemberley and I gotta admit, my mom's usually pretty accurate on this stuff since she's been visiting this place since forever. She's got some favorite authors, I just bought her a book by one of them...

God, my mom writes Pride and Prejudice fanfiction. It's so damn weird.
